Timothy 4:6-11
A
Good Servant of Jesus Christ
6 If you instruct the
brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished
in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully
followed. 7 But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and
exercise yourself toward godliness. 8 For bodily exercise
profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of
the life that now is and of that which is to come. 9 This is a
faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance. 10 For to
this end we both labor and suffer reproach,[a] because we trust in
the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of
those who believe. 11 These things command and teach.
Day
8 started off great, but I am just now getting to the blog post! Well, better
late than never and I can look at it like this. I get to get into my bible
double time today.
So,
I read Ephesians 2 this morning and it is a faith revival in the Lord Jesus!
Walking
in good works is our destiny in Christ and it is the word of God that opens up
our minds to the goodness of God. Amen!
Also,
if you read on down in chapter 2 of Ephesians, verse 14 mention the word “partition.”
“For he is our peace, who hath made
both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us”
Glory to God, Jesus has broken down
the barrier or the partition between us and God. We can now go to the Father
through the Son. Now, we can be
encouraged through the word of God to continue in Jesus.
If
you haven’t read Ephesians 1 & 2 yet, you should now and if you’re just
tuning in, you can find previous posts here.
Continue
to sow to the spirit! Why? Let’s Continue!
