Timothy 4:6-11
A
Good Servant of Jesus Christ
6 If you instruct the
brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ,
nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have
carefully followed. 7 But reject profane and old wives’
fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. 8 For
bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things,
having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. 9 This is a
faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance. 10 For to
this end we both labor and suffer reproach,[a] because we trust in
the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of
those who believe. 11 These things command and
teach.
Today
is day 9 and I am still determined to finish this race. Ephesians 3 this
morning speaks simply “God has a plan for us all!” Amen!!!
We’re
going to get right into speaking into our spirit the righteousness of God’s
word! We are what we eat!

not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do
what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately

in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in
what they do.

Let’s
the word help us to be fruitful and multiply great virtue into our lives, God
is awesome, Amen! The many reason we need the word in our lives!

(1) Faith comes by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God
