30 Day Rewind-Build My House

I was told I need to be sowed into for the continuation of my ministry and I agree. Too much sowing and too little replenishing is a malnourished plant. So for the next 30 days I will be revisiting and rewinding the posts back to the beginning.

Today, we will revisit Build My House

Setting the Atmosphere

What is in your "Atmosphere'?

I've been talking shifting, anointing, a breathing, and uprising...there is a manifestation in the atmosphere.

God is showing Himself in awesome ways where we have no choice but to turn up to Him and think, "My God, My God!" I speak from my own experience. When God begins to talk to you personally and things begin to come to pass just as He spoke to you...how can you not serve him.

Many times we are too wrapped up in ourselves, warped from this decaying world we live in...life just seems to pass us by day by day. What am I saying you ask? We get too caught up in our own lives and end up missing that still small voice which speaks to all of us. I'm no better than anyone else. We are all created in His image and in His likeness and God is no respecter of persons, but...we have choice!

Who did you choose when you woke up this morning? Did you choose to do evil in the place of good? Because they are always both before us daily. The devil seeks those whom he can devour, shut up, make mute, shut up the praise to our Lord, shackle your feet, and make lame. But there is a God mightier than he, the one true God, the only wise God, who gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, slain for our sins so that we can lift our voice and praise and serve Him, so we can dance and sing, shout and make music in His name. He breaks every yoke and every chain and quenches every fiery dart of the devil. Choose ye this day whom you shall serve. Choose Jesus!

The path you choose is the master of your soul so choose wisely and be aware that what you allow in your atmosphere that you will also reap. What you sow, that you will also receive. If you desire to know God and follow Him, His hands are outstretched and He is speaking to you even now the direction you shall go. But are you listening? Open your ears and don't play the hard role. Hardness must be broken, envy, jealousy, and anger must cease. The beast in you needs a new mode and that mode is Christ!

Set up your atmosphere. Surround yourself with believers that will uplift and encourage you to do what's right. You can only grow to the standard you surround yourself with, so surround yourself with those you feel are better than you, that you can look up to as an example, and that can help you be a better person instead of those who will bring you down.

God has prepared a place for you in His Kingdom, but will you accept His invitation and come in or is He still knocking at your door?

Atmosphere.

Surround yourself with people and things that bring love, joy, and peace, those who show forth kindness and gentleness, faith and mercy, patience, goodness and self-control because it is these who walk in the spirit.

Set your atmosphere with prayer and worship! Once we begin to operate in the spiritual the presence of the enemy will have to cease every time we enter in. Try it and see what God will do! The devil can't stop your praise unless you let him! Amen!

Acts 16:25-26New International Version (NIV)25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.

Breaking the Chains... Releasing the Power

We serve a Awesome, awesome, awesome Father!!! Amen!

The oil of my spirit is still set a blaze from last night's youth explosion which was truly explosive in ministry and the power of God. The Lord is setting up His kingdom and he is ready to use and send anyone who will go...will you???

God is breaking chains on our thought patterns as we push towards Him. Can you feel the pulling of God's spirit as we push? But the reason God is pulling as we are pushing even the more now is because Satan knows he has little time left for deception and warring against Gods children.

God is raising up a generation of fire starters. Amen!  He is breaking chains and releasing power for kingdom business. There is an overflow of His anointing,  an increase in prophecy, and God is breathing on young and old the prophecy of Joel is at hand.

“And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
29 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
30 I will show wonders in the heavens
    and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
31 The sun will be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
32 And everyone who calls
    on the name of the Lord will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
    there will be deliverance,
    as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors
    whom the Lord calls.[c]

Now, the preacher last night said "Catch it!" Some of us missed that but God is moving at an incomprehensible way right now and we just need to grab hold, hold on, catch and ride this wave of God, this movement of God because if we do not we will miss the blessing connected to our obedience, the "if you" comes before your "Then".

Blessing

“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—
the great locust and the young locust,
the other locusts and the locust swarm[b]
my great army that I sent among you.
26 You will have plenty to eat, until you are full,
and you will praise the name of the Lord your God,
who has worked wonders for you;"

There is a moving, a shaking, a shifting, and God is speaking to all flesh but all flesh is not in tune with what the spirit of God is saying and will therefore miss it if they don't catch it. For God desires all to be saved and come to fullness in Christ. Amen!

Don't miss out on God! Don't sleep on your an anointing!  Stop making excuses and jump on the train because it's moving and it's speed is increasing.

When we allow God to change our minds and our habits and begin to switch our focus to revolve around God and His spirit,  we open a door to that spiritual awakening, that refreshing, that new wine. God is breaking those chains so that we can go forth in ministry and do minister.

"Oil and wine
“I am sending you grain, new wine and olive oil, enough to satisfy you fully;"

The devil can't hold what don't want to be held so be loosed in the name of Jesus! Shackles of the mind released! Complacency and the spirit of fear leave because God has a good and faithful plan for you and he will bring it to completion.

Psalm
60 O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.
Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.
That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.
God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
10 Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

A Holy Seed

But as the terebinth and oak
leave stumps when they are cut down,
so the holy seed will be the stump in the land.” Isaiah 6:13

As I prepare to minister at this upcoming youth event, today I am reminded of the "holy seed."

Raising children is not an easy feat, but with God we can still have a "holy seed." What is a "holy seed" though?
Holy means this, "exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness." There is only one good and that is God. He alone is Holy! We can be holy through the lamb of God who washed away our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. He takes filthy rags and makes them brand new again, Amen! And we can show our kids the truth from the beginning and raise them up in this way that they will be that remnant, that "holy seed."

Kids are off the chain today! Who do we blame? Society, the kids, the parents, the schools, the government...who? God is in control, but we as parents need to step up and be the example for these kids. They need to know there is hope when it looks like there is none. They need to know there is a way out. They need to know there is a savior and a God who loves them and wants the best for them. They need to know the love of Christ!

Through the love of God, we can minister to these children and show them that a life set apart from ungodliness is life eternal. There is a reward now and later and forever. The luxuries earned in this life are nothing but grass ready to turn brown in the winter and die. Luxuries without God do not last. Our treasure is in heaven and with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Our kids need to know that this is the reason we live, to God and for God!

Pray for your city kids, pray for their parents, pray for healing and deliverance, pray for an uprising of a "holy seed!" Amen!

Appreciate The Little Things

It's easy to encourage others before the storm but who encourages you during your storms?

This is usually the order of events...God ministers about a subject to equip you for the trial, the trial comes, and you think back on how well you used your equipment, right?!?

Well, I had a situation the other day which required me to look back at my previous post. I was encouraging others "Don't let the devil get you down!" Then here comes the devil...

My daughter fell Ill for a few days off and on and then the last time the fever hit, it stayed and went through the roof. So we took multiple measures to safely bring it down, but it shook me a bit. I found myself thinking how can I smile when my baby can't smile. It hurts a momma to see her baby like that.

During this time I began to reflect on ' the little things ' like her eating and feeding herself, her smile, her eyes wide open, her playfulness, and so on. All of a sudden I missed those ' little things'.
But glory to God... she rose again! Joy came and it didn't take all the way til morning, Amen! The Lord delivered my baby from that ugly fever praise God and today I'm just reflecting on those ' little things ' we sometimes take for granted.

Weeping is only temporary, but joy will come! His burden is easy, His yoke is light! He may not answer the way you see fit, but know He is there and His plan and timing is perfect.

Don't Let The Devil Get You Down!

I want to talk today about smiling in the midst of adversity. How can we continue to smile in the midst of troubles?

Troubles will come. That is guaranteed for any one of us. How we handle the fire speaks volumes about our maturity and character. We need to be equipped with the Holy Spirit at all times to have help when the trials come, because they will come. Why do they come some may ask?

James 1:2-4 (NKJV)

Profiting from Trials

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

1 Peter 1:6-9 (NIV)

In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your soul

So, there is great profit in the end if we just keep looking to Jesus and keep smiling! Amen! Don't let the devil have that victory over you, have faith, and press in Him! Your enemy seeks to devour you and shake you, but you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus!

Think like Jesus & Watch Your Mouth!
1 Peter 2:22 (KJV)22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

Don't fight back fire with fire.  Jesus was tempted in the wilderness and fought the devil with the word. For every evil Jesus had a word. We need to have the word of God hidden in our hearts, the sword of the spirit, to fight this war!
For the weapons of warfare are mighty in God for bringing down strongholds. In god is our strength. When we are tempted, we need to think like Jesus.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NKJV)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

 Proverbs 15:1 (NKJV)
15 A soft answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger.

There is great joy in the spirit! Amen! We are urged to walk in the spirit because the spirit gives us life and life more abundantly in Christ. It's a daily choice we must make for our own peace sake and that of others. May you be encouraged to walk in Him today and through every trial in Jesus' name!

The Mind of Filthy Lucre

The Vine and the Branches
John 15:1-8
15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Our topic for today is "Filthy Lucre." Why try to gain the whole world and lose your soul?

I get so anxious in my preschool business some times that I don't want to turn anyone away. I find myself saying yes to clients that don't fit the scheme of my services because I get too excited about filling the spots and the money I can make.

God reminds me to be careful of how I handle the people in my business, be anxious for nothing, but pray about everything. A lot of times we can get caught up in the income potential and forget our first love. As a child of God, called to send God's word to the people, my work and ministry must flow together and be balanced. First things first is the kingdom of God and then the other things follow.

I shouldn't be so concerned about money that I will accept any client just like people should not take any kind of job just because they need money. The blessings will come through our obedience, Amen!

Money can never have the upper hand because it is the root of all evil. Greed can't wait to sift you like wheat until you are consumed with the lust of money. Our adrennaline has to stop pumping for money and start pumping more for God! Amen!

Jesus overturned tables in the temple over filthy lucre. Don't we know we are the temple of God?

We should be running to Him first before runnning to the next dollar. Am I seeking His face on this diligently?

Chronicles 7:14 New International Version (NIV)
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Psalm 27:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.

The mind of filthy lucre is a mind that focuses on the material first and then the spiritual. Its time to put on our flip flops and reverse this way of thinking.

Matthew 6:33 New International Version (NIV)
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

When we put God first, not only do we have His favor but we have a righteous order of all things. God puts in order all things when we are in His will and follow Him.

It's a battle, but we can do all things through Christ! Apart from Christ we can do nothing! It's time for a pruning so we can bear MUCH fruit! Put "Filthy Lucre" in its place...under your feet! Money does grow on trees. A tree of righteousness bears much fruit...Christ First! Amen!

30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 30

Conversations With God

Bible Reference:
1 Timothy 4:6-11

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come…

Word of the Day: Shammah
Tonight during bible class we talked about the fruit of the spirit and through another ministry today I heard the fruit of the spirit is more powerful and more dangerous to the enemy than the gifts. Think about that for a moment...
Now, as we bring this 30 day challenge to a close, we are coming to a place of revelation and realization. God is revealing purpose and presence and we are realizing his power throughout the earth. Amen! To possess the fruit of the spirit is to possess God's presence. The fruit of the spirit is God in you...His Presence manifested! Amen!
As God ministered through the man of God tonight I got the message that God is with me. Then, as we began to worship and pray God began to minister to me and "Shammah, Shammah, Shammah" was the word of repetition. So of course I had to look it up and I found that "Shammah" means God is here, He is in this place ,He is with me. Halleluyah! God's presence is here!
Who is this God that speaks? The Lord God Almighty! El Shaddai! Yahweh Shammah! He is ever with me! Halleluyah!
If we just quiet ourselves and listen to that still small voice...He is even speaking! You can have conversations with God and He will tell you great and marvelous things and He will lead you in the ways of righteousness. Our conversation the other day went something like this:
Me:God I'm tired of being treated like this. Every time I try its thrown in my face. (in tears...)
God: You can do all things through Christ...
Me: But its not fair Lord...
God: To who much is given, much is required...
Me: (More tears...)
God: It is through your obedience some will be saved. They will see your love and devotion to Me and return to Me...
Are you having conversations with God? Maybe you are and you don't even realize it. It's time to walk in the spirit and walk out this life of faith we proclaim. Withholding nothing, surrender all to Jesus! Amen! There is POWER in God's presence!
Talk to him...He's listening...He is Shammah! Praise God!

30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 29

El Shaddai "Almighty God"

Bible Reference:
1 Timothy 4:6-11

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come…

Amen! Amen! Day 29 and by now you should have surpassed the daily reading and moved on beyond this challenge. If not, that's okay because starting somewhere and gaining consistency is what will bring you to a place of wanting more of God and desiring more of His word.
Today, I just wanted to focus on two words, El Shaddai or "Almighty God!" I chose these words because since I have begun this challenge, the gift of tongues has been revived by coming into fellowship with other gift filled believers. This gift amazes me more now because before it was just a taste, but now the gift is even better than the first time. What do I mean? God not only blessed me with the gift of tongues, but also of interpretation, of prophecy, and visions and dreams and all these gifts have been magnified yet I know its just the beginning. God has put in my spirit that there is even more to come praise God! But I am also reminded to whom much is given, much is required so I humbly receive and operate in these gifts knowing now that there is a higher calling on my life this "El Shaddai!"
El Shaddai has continuously come up as I operate in the gift of tongues. So I looked up the meaning and found some wonderful information.
The word "dai" means to shed forth, pour out, to heap benefits, all coming together to mean God is provision, sustenance, and blessing.
"Shad" or "Shadayim" signifies God is one who  nourishes, supplies, and satisfies.
"Shadad" means to overpower or destroy which suggests absolute power. God is Almighty and able to conquer any and every obstacle and all opposition.
El Shaddai, My Almighty God! I call on his name, El Shaddai, and God says I am pouring out a fresh anointing on you and all those who will receive the gifts I have prepared for them. Not all will receive the gifts, but those who will will begin to go forth in a mighty ministry that cannot be destroyed. The power of the All Mighty God, El Shaddai shall sustain us and bring our gifts  unto completion in a perfect way.
Praise the name of the Lord, "El Shaddai", The Almighty God who pours out heaps of blessing in the spirit of holiness for His good will and pleasure for His works to be made manifest in His kingdom. It is the time of Joel when the young will rise up, see visions, prophecy, and dream. Don't be afraid! God is with you!
Let God pour his holy oil into your spirit that He may rise in you that your purpose be made known in the earth.
Sow to the spirit even the more as that day of Christ draws near...The 30 day challenge continues...

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come…

Day 28...still hanging in there! You ever get stuck not knowing what to read but you hungry so you just start reading something? God is good and no matter what you read from His word, God will use it for the good! Amen! We just got to be willing to overcome the enemy and READ anyway.
It seems after reading the one chapter in the daily challenge, you begin to want more after some time and this is a good thing. So keep on keep on in God's word, Amen!
In 2 Thessalonians 3 I just wanted to point out this verse:
"May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance."
The whole purpose or main purpose for this challenge was to see how important the word of God is in our lives. We need the word! The Word is food for our souls! It is life to our spirit man! Amen!
We need God's direction and it is through God's word, His love, and our perseverance in Christ that we mature and are enabled to better serve God in the ministry he has blessed us with. We are going on from faith to faith, ever increasing in the joy of the Lord! God is able and we are His workmanship created in Him for good works. Now let's work this faith and work in the perseverance of God! He will give us strength to endure! Amen!
We can do all things through Christ! Once we begin to get the revelation James revealed to us, that we need to count it all joy when we go through temptation and trials and go through with a smile and be kind to those who mistreat us not expecting anything in return. Own no man nothing but to love them. The Love of God is unconditional and no respecter of persons.
May the love of God dwell in us richly, Amen! Help us see beyond the outward appearance Lord. Help us to see the heart of the man, so that we can effectively minister and not turn others away from the cross. Help us to be rooted and grounded in your love, mercy, and kindness and to treat others as we would want to be treated. IN Jesus' Name, Amen!
Who knows if you're entertaining angels?!? Love your neighbor as yourself!

DAY 30 1 Timothy 2

Friends, let me leave you with this…our 30 day challenge closing:

(1)  Faith comes by hearing, and  hearing by the word of God

(2)  Without Faith it is impossible to please God

 (3)  Faith without works is dead

Philippians 4:8

New International Version (NIV)

Walk in the Spirit,
