Let Him Upgrade You

Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP)

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

Isn’t it time for an upgrade ladies?

I remember the days of selling myself short for a dime or for nothing at all in the name of love and in the name of destruction. That was all I was really doing is destroying myself worth, giving away my pearls casting them before swine and living without dignity and value for myself.

God wants to upgrade you to a man after His heart. No longer do you need to chase a man ladies, your man will find you. The problem is some of us have an addiction to the wrong man, let’s call it “Mr. No Good syndrome.” Yes, I had that nasty syndrome too. This man tells you everything you want to hear but is sneaky and conniving and behind your back he’s playing you like a puppet master. He does not value the beauty God has placed inside of you. You are worth more than rubies, diamonds, and pearls, yet he wants to plunder your goods and does not want to pay the cost. What happen to “put a ring on it?”

Watch out for Mr. No Good up to no good and you’re with him just because you like them ‘hood.’ ‘Hood’ been played out! It’s time to upgrade to a man with class that will escalate your self-worth and fly you in first class. You do the math. It doesn’t have to be about the money because really it’s what’s on the inside that is of more value that will carry you much further, for richer or for poorer, but that doesn’t mean settle for any Tom, Dick, or Harry. God has a standard so let’s start with a clean slate. A man with God’s goals and dreams that include a beautiful queen but first and foremost does he follow the KING? If he follows the KING, then the rest will fold in like a domino effect, one blessing after another.

God told me to keep digging and the gold I would soon find. A few months later there was my husband, Carmine. The package wasn’t pretty but the prize on the inside was bountiful. His dream included a queen and she looked just like me. We united as one and God multiplied everything we had times 3. God brought me from accepting what came after me to requiring a standard in man because I am worth more than a man who can’t find time to buy a wedding band and can’t remain faithful and keep his wood in his pants unless I unleash it.

Let’s face it! How many men have we enabled to be a ladies man? We have to stop selling ourselves short and giving up the goods for free. It should cost them a ring and a whole life of hard work and labor. You are worth that much and more! When you begin to value yourself more, then men will have to step their game up to win the prize they have in you.

Every woman wants love. Being hurt time and time again isn’t love, it’s love spelled backwards evol. We were made to be loved, feel love, and live love. But where is love we ask? Keep digging and you will find? Sift through the wheat and at the bottom, that which remains is the one that God has in store for you. The one who will be there in good times and bad times, sickness and health, until death do you part, the only one worthy to have your heart.

Ladies, it’s time to step your game up and seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and THEN you will find the one God has planned for you. You want a Boaz, you gotta be a Ruth. Ruth was patient, willing and obedient, submissive to God, and beautiful from within. She displayed herself before a king and won his heart through quietness and truth. She didn’t have to take her clothes off or drop it like it’s hot or twerk for him. She didn’t have to let him “test drive” the goods. She didn’t have to become something she was not. Ruth simply displayed her heart from the inside out. She didn’t have to give him anything but he gave her everything.

God has a plan for you. Seek him and you will find it! Now just change your outlook and look within. Your Boaz is waiting for you Ruth! Let your king crown you and give you the love that you deserve.

Walk in the Spirit,

Prophetess Deanna Mack
