30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 29

El Shaddai "Almighty God"

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come… 

Amen! Amen! Day 29 and by now you should have surpassed the daily reading and moved on beyond this challenge. If not, that's okay because starting somewhere and gaining consistency is what will bring you to a place of wanting more of God and desiring more of His word.
Today, I just wanted to focus on two words, El Shaddai or "Almighty God!" I chose these words because since I have begun this challenge, the gift of tongues has been revived by coming into fellowship with other gift filled believers. This gift amazes me more now because before it was just a taste, but now the gift is even better than the first time. What do I mean? God not only blessed me with the gift of tongues, but also of interpretation, of prophecy, and visions and dreams and all these gifts have been magnified yet I know its just the beginning. God has put in my spirit that there is even more to come praise God! But I am also reminded to whom much is given, much is required so I humbly receive and operate in these gifts knowing now that there is a higher calling on my life this "El Shaddai!"
El Shaddai has continuously come up as I operate in the gift of tongues. So I looked up the meaning and found some wonderful information. 
The word "dai" means to shed forth, pour out, to heap benefits, all coming together to mean God is provision, sustenance, and blessing.
"Shad" or "Shadayim" signifies God is one who  nourishes, supplies, and satisfies.
"Shadad" means to overpower or destroy which suggests absolute power. God is Almighty and able to conquer any and every obstacle and all opposition.
El Shaddai, My Almighty God! I call on his name, El Shaddai, and God says I am pouring out a fresh anointing on you and all those who will receive the gifts I have prepared for them. Not all will receive the gifts, but those who will will begin to go forth in a mighty ministry that cannot be destroyed. The power of the All Mighty God, El Shaddai shall sustain us and bring our gifts  unto completion in a perfect way.
Praise the name of the Lord, "El Shaddai", The Almighty God who pours out heaps of blessing in the spirit of holiness for His good will and pleasure for His works to be made manifest in His kingdom. It is the time of Joel when the young will rise up, see visions, prophecy, and dream. Don't be afraid! God is with you!
Let God pour his holy oil into your spirit that He may rise in you that your purpose be made known in the earth.
Sow to the spirit even the more as that day of Christ draws near...The 30 day challenge continues...

(1)  Faith comes by hearing, and  hearing by the word of God

(2)  Without Faith it is impossible to please God

 (3)  Faith without works is dead
