Get Low

God says He will exalt us in His time. We need to take the lowest seat, in humility, and allow God to exalt us in due time. Our gifts will make room for us. Let not pride rise up because it is something that God hates and soon a fall WILL come making us GET LOW face first back where we need to be. So sometimes our mistakes make us better, when we allow God to humble us through it.

Take humility as a part of the breastplate of righteousness, the armor of God, and fill your heart with love and submission in humility. (Yes, I’m talking to myself !)

1 Peter 5:5-11

New International Version (NIV)

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,

“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Don’t let the devil get you down today! Get low with God and stand firm in the faith!

Walk in the Spirit,

Prophetess Deanna Mack

Luke 14:7-11

New International Version (NIV)

When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable: “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. 10 But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. 11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
