Verse of the Day:
Psalm 25:14 King James Version
(KJV)
“The secret of the Lord (YAHWEH) is with them that fear
him; and he will shew them his covenant.”
The Lord desires to show us His secrets. Jesus
preached in parables to the people, but to his disciples revealed the meaning
of His words. He said “those with ears, let them hear!” The followers of Christ
HEAR his voice. “His sheep hear His voice!” Amen!
Are we listening?
Matthew
13:11 Amplified Bible (AMP)
“And He
replied to them, To you it has been given to know the secrets and mysteries
of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.”
Matthew
11:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
“He who has
ears to hear, let him be listening and let him consider and perceive
and comprehend by hearing.”
Faith comes by hearing the word of God. If we want
to understand God, we have to be listening. If we want to hear God, we have to
be seeking. If we want to seek God, we have to get in the word of God and pray.
God is always speaking, but are we listening? Are you searching for God today?
Proverbs
7:1-3 New International Version (NIV)
“My son, keep my words and store up
my commands within you. Keep my commands and you will live; guard my
teachings as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write
them on the tablet of your heart.”
Through
God’s word we can know Him and as we seek Him, He will begin to reveal more of Himself
and the desires He has for your life. His word should be like honey in our
mouths because He is good and faithful. The more we stay in the word of God,
the more His teachings become the apple of our eyes and they
are written more and more in our hearts. Do you know Him today? Are you
listening?
Jeremiah
31:33 King James Version (KJV)
“But this shall be the
covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the
Lord, I will put my law in their
inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they
shall be my people.”
God’s
people seek Him and He knows those who are His. They will hear His voice and
they will know Him because He puts His desires within us. Let’s listen to God
today and let the Holy Spirit teach us ALL things. His anointing will teach us.
John
14:26 King James Version (KJV)
“But the Comforter, which is
the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all
things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto
you.”
1
John 2:27 King James Version (KJV)
“But the anointing which ye
have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you:
but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no
lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”
When
you are abiding in the Lord, He lives in you, He teaches you, He anoints you
for His good purpose. Your pastor and teachers at church confirm the spirit of
God moving in your life. You will hear the word and begin to recall what God
has been revealing to you. It is an awesome privilege to hear God’s voice. Are
you listening?
I
dare you to draw near to Him today. I dare you to touch God. Taste and see that
the Lord is good. His mercy endures forever! Amen! God is faithful! Glorify Him
in your walk today.
Walk
in the Spirit,
Prophetess
