30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 7

1 Timothy 4:6-11

 

 

A Good Servant of Jesus ChristIf you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed. But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance. 10 For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach,[a] because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe. 11 These things command and teach.

 

 

As we continue on with Day 7, we find Ephesians 1 ministering to us about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Why is God’s word so important? We continue today to magnify the Lord through our dedication to desire the word of God living and active in our lives, Amen!

Today, Ephesians 1 spoke to me about the Lord Jesus…spiritual blessings, predestination, adoption, grace, love, redemption, forgiveness, wisdom, prudence, good pleasure, purpose, inheritance, salvation, sealed, promise, revelation, knowledge, greatness, mighty power…What a Word!

 

Let’s fight the good fight of faith! Once again, here are more reasons to sow to the spirit!

We are free in the word of God, Amen!

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Without the word of God we are stuck believing what another man has to say about it. Know the word of God for yourself!

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

By the word we can help and encourage others.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high

The power is in the word and the word is POWER!

Good God Almighty!!! The Word is Good!!! All the time and all the time the word is good and the word is GOD! Amen!

(1)  Faith comes by hearing, and  hearing by the word of God

 

 

 

(2)  Without Faith it is impossible to please God
