30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 27

God is Breathing a Fresh Anointing

Bible Reference:

1 Timothy 4:6-11

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come…

Day 27 and I am reminded of God's fresh anointing. God is breathing a fresh anointing on his people. As I sat in Sunday services, God began to speak to me as the prophetess prophesied to the congregation. I sat in awe of God's mercy and love for me that He would open the windows of to me to be able to hear Him again in this way. Like a still small voice, God was speaking to me just as clear as I write this post.
Then God began to breathe His breath through me and I began to blow. As I blew, I heard the Lord say "I am breathing a fresh anointing on my people." Glory to God! He is anointing us for the work of the kingdom. We can no longer sit on the gifts God has given us. It's time to open them up with gladness and thanksgiving, and honor God with the substance He has blessed us with, Amen!
I am truly feeling refreshed more and more and I'm excited about what God has in store. Receive the breath of God on your lives as He breathes life into your nostrils as in the beginning, as He breathes life into your dry bones, for it is time for an awakening of the people of God! Amen!
I say Breathe Lord, Breathe on me! A fresh anointing! Continue to seek God and His will and He hears every prayer and knows our needs! Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and He will give you the desires of your heart. Amen!
Let's go from faith to faith! In the Word! And out of your belly shall flows rivers of living water! It's Time to LIVE for God!

30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 26

Pay Attention

Bible Reference:

1 Timothy 4:6-11

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come…

Still exercising faith through reading the word of God. This exercise produces a harvest of good fruit and you shall reap a harvest if you faint not, Amen!
I had to figure out another way to type up my posts since my tool expired, but God gives us wisdom to carry on and keep it moving, Amen!
Day 26 and it's been a truly busy weekend. I got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while and I got a glimpse of the ministry I hid a while ago as I stepped back into the music ministry. God is doing an amazing work! I know the more time I give over to God, the more God will bless the gifts he has given me to use for his glory!
I was reunited with a young lady who spoke a word to me in my early 20's when I was not using music as a ministry, but using it as a weapon against God's people. I was full of darkness and covered in sin and used music to make it known all the dirt I did. This young lady was a teenager and she told me I should use the gift God had given me for God rather than use it in sin. How was a teenager going to tell me anything, right? I was grown and doing what I wanted to do, so at first I paid it no attention.
A few years later, I gave my life to Christ and did exactly what God had told her to tell me. I turned my music into a ministry and instead of making music about sin I began to make music about getting out of sin and giving honor and glory to God. Amen!
I told this dear sister in Christ that what she said back then over 10 years ago has stuck to me to this very day. I thank God for her allowing God to use her and being available to his voice. Halleluyah! I told her I'm doing it now! She had no idea because I had not seen her since.
God is awesome and He is in the business of showing up everywhere and anywhere to make a difference in our lives and show us he's there and hands outstretched.
Think about a time in your life when this has happened to you? How did it make you feel? I know I'm not the only one. This happens all over the world everyday because He loves us and wants us in His will. Amen!
No matter where you are, God is there. In the end we will have no excuses, because He is always drawing us to himself. Let us come to Him and call on Him, because He is the source of our existence and He loves us so much that the Lord even died so that we could be free from sin and enter in to the joy of the Lord. Let us go and go quickly to the Lord's hand! Amen!

30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 25

Another Day Another Problem to Praise Through!

Bible Reference:

1 Timothy 4:6-11

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come…

The Word of God is tried and true and as we continue to exercise daily in it, God is drawing us closer and closer to himself. Halleluyah!

Day 25 and it’s another day, new problems, new territory to conquer, and more reason to praise God because through every trial comes a blessing. The bible tells us we will reap a harvest if we faint not. So continue to praise through your mess, your adversity, your trials, your problems, and through everything because you have no idea what God has in store for you. Don’t give up!

1 Thessalonians 5 encourages us with much meat to eat from the Lord’s table. We can spend so much time look at our problems, other people’s problems, and life in general and forget to give it to God. We feed off the wrong things throughout our daily walk then wonder why we are not in shape to face the enemy. We can’t see the traps he has laid before us because we have not spent enough time with Him so that we can discern the spirit by the Spirit. Amen! We need to spend more time with God! More than Facebook, more than movies, more than any other activity that wastes time that could have been spent building yourself up in the Word of God!

1 Thessalonians 5-8But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Encourage each other and stop tearing each other down. Build up your brothers and sisters to soar like eagles and be the best them they can be. Stop paying back evil for evil and rather repay them with good. We can do all things through Christ! Instead of looking for someone’s downfall, look for their success and rejoice with them! For this is the will of God, Amen!

This challenge is see what the word of God can do for you, for me, for anyone who would step out on faith and trust God! This challenge has been more than a blessing for me, but a character builder and a spiritual boost for my calling in Christ to excel. I pray for our continued success in the word of God together. You are a shining light, so let your light shine saints of God!

30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 24

Living to Please God!

Bible Reference:

1 Timothy 4:6-11

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come…

Today I am encouraged to live the life God has given me right where I am to the fullest, Amen! It’s time to look at your cup as filling up rather than going empty. When we change our way of thinking, we can ultimately change our life!

Just imagine every negative thought shot down with a positive thought. Even though someone is doing you wrong, you respond with love and respect anyway. We’re not built in this flesh to walk in such a way, but the God we serve is more than able and when we walk in His spirit, He will guide us, correct us, and give us the strength to PUSH through, halleluyah! We can do all things through Christ!

Now its Day 24 and 1 Thessalonians 4 is encouraging us to live pleasing to God, not just now but growing more and more in the pleasures of our Lord from faith to faith! Praise God! We are pressing toward the goal in Jesus Christ! Divorce is not pleasing to God, sex before marriage is not pleasing to God, anger, lying, stealing...our hearts are desperately wicked but the king of righteousness cleanses us from all sin as we walk with Him.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the world and the world is desensitizing us more and more to the point that sanctification is unheard of. We no longer want to guard our ears and our eyes from sin, but we invite it in and think as long as we are not physically taking part in it we are okay. But don’t you know men and women of God what you sow, that you shall also reap. What you put in, must come out. So be careful and listen to the warning the word of God has for us to live to please God in sanctification and holiness through Jesus Christ.

Jesus didn't die for us to continue in sin but for our deliverance. He died so that we would have a way back to the father as it was in the beginning. May God deliver our minds from this trap of the enemy! The enemy knows if he keeps us close to sin in some way, the easier it is for him to creep in to different areas of our lives to get us off track in the Lord. I rebuke that devil right now in the name of Jesus! I see you Satan and you will NOT embark on this territory for as for me and my house we will serve the Lord, Amen! Choose today who you will serve!
As this chapter concludes and the word of God is true, Jesus will return with the sound of a trumpet and voice of an archangel. First the dead in Christ will rise and then those alive in Christ will meet him in the clouds and forever be in his presence. Amen!

It’s time to live for God to the fullest! We give our all in and to many things, but will we give our God our all? He wants it all today! So give it ALL!

30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 23

Just Believe!

Bible Reference:

1 Timothy 4:6-11

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come…

I love it when God’s work is seen amongst you, when you can actually feel God and see the fruits moving in your life. God is doing an amazing work in my marriage and he won’t let me give up because everywhere I turn He is encouraging me to hold on, to be strong, to stand firm, and His love never fails. Amen!

I just wanted to note today’s scripture at church from Mark 5 about the healing of Jairus’ daughter. I love it because the story seems unrelated until you look for application.

Here’s a quick rundown of what happened. First, Jairus comes to Jesus in this situation. During this time, people came to Jairus and told him not to bother Jesus since his daughter was already dead, but Jesus told him not to be scared and to just believe. The people at Jairus’ house made fun of Jesus when he said the girl was not dead but asleep. Jesus put them all out except the child’s mother, father, and the disciples with him. When Jesus spoke to the child, the child awoke, stood up, began to walk, and then was given something to eat.

What captured my thoughts in this message was “Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” The devil can’t have my marriage! The devil can’t have my daughters, my sons, and everything I got belongs to God! It is by faith mountains move! Amen!

Often I want to just give up, be single, and not worry about marriage anymore or dealing with another person’s ideas and suggestions which often clash with my own, but God says just trust him, he has it, and have faith. I have been hearing the same basic message over and over again for a few years now. God does not want me to give up, but Satan does and he is trying hard to keep us down. But he will not have the victory because God speaks and his will is being made more plain to me every day. I can choose to throw in the towel or I can choose to trust God and follow him. I know he’ll lead me in the right direction.

I am constantly reminded of the dream when my husband fell into a prideful pit, but then we were reunited on the bridge and taken into a house where the father and the son prepared gifts. My husband and I will do ministry again together and the latter will be far greater than the first. God told me to be strong in him, taking up the full armor of God, and doing all to stand against the wiles of the devil. The battle is spiritual and I have to remember that I am not fighting my husband but I am fighting the enemy, Satan.

Now, day 23…let’s continue to fight the good fight of faith and stand firm in God’s word our sword! Amen! The devil’s under our feet!!! In Jesus’ name!

30 Day Spiritually Fit Bible Challenge—DAY 21

Why is it so hard to walk in the spirit?

Bible Reference:

1 Timothy 4:6-11

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

…exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come…

I always end my salutation with “walk in the spirit!” There is joy, love, peace, and true happiness in the spirit, not that Pharrell type happy, but why is it so hard to walk in the spirit and so easy to give in to the flesh? Another day another problem, right! It's all about the view of things, our perspective.
Are we praying enough? Are we at the Lord's table enough? You will know the tree by its fruit!

I hear "let patience have its perfect work" and what looks ugly now will be beautiful in its time! We need patience and longsuffering in the uglies. If we let patience work the end result will be perfection because God is in it. It is the fruit of the spirit. Amen!

Now its Day 21 and we are reading the short and sweet 1 Thessalonians 1. The focal point I want to point out today is verse 6:

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.

Why is it so hard to walk in the spirit?
Is it because the battle is not against flesh and blood but spiritual? These Thessalonians were being praised for receiving the word in MUCH affliction with JOY because they walked in the spirit. This spiritual warfare is real and we are dealing with wickedness in high places, so it is not easy. But with God all things are possible within His divine will. We can do all things through Christ!

As always, I write to encourage myself first and others second to hold on to Christ and walk in the spirit. Times get hard and people are not easily dealt with at all times, and dealing with our own selves can be cumbersome as well, but it is the spirit behind them and not the person that is causing us to get caught up in our feelings or the flesh. It is a war between the world of flesh and the world of spirit, two different worlds and lifestyles, even opposites.

This is why a fasting and setting apart as often as needed is necessary to continue to move forward and build up the spirit man against the flesh. When is it needs? It is needed when the going gets tough and you feel it harder and harder to submit to the spirit over the flesh.
We have to seek to crush the flesh and the desires of it because the flesh always wants more and is never satisfied. God has a better way, the way is work, but you will reap a harvest if you faint not! Amen! Let’s continue to fight and win! The harvest is ripe!

We have Power over the flesh in Christ Jesus! Let’s run! Also read my post Be Strong in the Lord and the Power of His Might! I am going to re-read it now because I need it just like you!
