A Good Servant of
Jesus Christ
…exercise yourself
toward godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profits a little,
but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now
is and of that which is to come…
As I sit here listening to my 4 year old
complain of any and everything because he is not feeling well, I read
Colossians 2. The words that stick out most to me are “continue to live your
life in him, rooted and built up in him” and “the reality is found in Christ.”
The reality is Christ has my son and my son will be healed and his healing is
already here. The process may not feel good but these are the processes of life
and as we go through God is bringing us to a good and expected end. Amen! His
desire is to do us GOOD!
As I am praying for my son to get well today I
am also praying for my continued life in him to be well established, rooted
deep, built on the rock of my salvation, a reality out of this world! I pray
for a consistency which builds to a habit, that will reap a character. I am
desiring spiritual fruit; fruit that is ready, fully developed, and ready for
service for the kingdom. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, O Lord!
When we are mature and led by the spirit of God,
we can walk in the power and authority in Christ and overcome evil. Colossians
warns us of those who would try to deceive us, but we have the cross of Christ
and His blood speaks volumes over our lives, Amen!
Our healing and our deliverance is in Jesus’
name! By His Word we were framed, even our innermost being, He knows the number
of every hair on your head, He knows our every need…I cast all my cares at His
feet today. Lord, your burdens are easy and your yoke is light! Have your way!
The reality is in Christ and His love endures forever! Continue in His word and be blessed my friends!
